Mercer Football Mock Newspaper

After the Mercer Bears football team secured the SOCON Conference Title, the university released a limited-edition newspaper to celebrate the win. With only a few copies available—and most online versions reduced to sourced images—I designed a full mock newspaper as a Christmas gift for my brother, Sully Croker, a player on the team.

I expanded the concept to include actual, Mercer student-written articles, in-depth stats pages, and a custom crossword puzzle, transforming the piece into both a keepsake and a fully realized editorial design project. The goal was to preserve the memory in a format that felt authentic, detailed, and meaningful.
